These cuffs are 3D printed and work without a key. They can be snapped together via they're built in a locking mechanism and only be opened by another person or a solid object that they are pressed against. If attached to another - for example a bolt in the wall - it is almost impossible to open them by yourself.
However they are also suited for light self bondage which require them to be opened by yourself. If you put them on your back you will need to find a solid object to open them against.
If you would like to to be extra secure you can use a M4 metric screw too lock them. This only can be done by another person and also can only be unlocked by another person.
The closing click sound is unique and you might be finding yourself opening and closing the cuffs just for the sake of the sound. 😊
